This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
It all depends on how you view tale. I view my writings as daughters, I have given birth to them- nurtured them- and have unleashed them upon the world. As such they are all an offshoot of myself, just as your story must be one that is also some branch of your own existence.
What I believe is that I live for the story, and story lives for me - but no one partner can claim dominion over the other; it is a symbiosis. I've met a lot of writers who think themselves kings, and are narcissistic to the point of me wanting to see them bleed- these are the ones that pride themselves as better than the art, and therefore they are rapists and undeserving of the talents they have.
But that isn't really what you asked at all is it? Apologies, but you did ask just an apostle of the OT advice on writing
Here's something that might help you: "As a poet it is my duty to push boundaries, excite and terrify, place you in or take you away from your comfort zone; and if a poet does not accomplish these things he is merely an idiot with a pen..... Everyone must make a stand for their creations, no matter how much they are hated. Never be afraid to 'Go There'. Abandon nothing, and love your Frankensteins."
That is part of a rant I had about a year ago, I'm sure someone else must have said it at some point, I've also omitted the part where I express my distaste toward Anne Rice - mostly for your benefit
Anyway, I think this might be the best thing I can offer you: EVOLVE. Not just in a physical sense, but metaphysical as well- and in all things.
That work for you?
